Children and Families that go Missing (Including Unborn Children)	In November 2024, minor amendments were made in Section 3, Protection and Action to be Taken in line with local practice.

Child and Adolescent to Parent Violence and Abuse (CAPVA)	This chapter was added to the procedures manual in May 2024.
Forced Marriage	This chapter was updated throughout in May 2024.
Assessment	In May 2024, this chapter was updated in line with revised Working Together to Safeguard Children.
So-Called 'Honour' Based Abuse	This chapter was updated throughout in May 2024.
Child Exploitation (including Child Sexual Exploitation and Criminal Exploitation)	In May 2024 minor amendments were made to definitions in line with Working Together to Safeguard Children.
Online Safety: Children Exposed to Abuse through the Digital Media	This chapter was refreshed in May 2024.
Safeguarding Children with a Social Worker, Children in Care and Children Previously in Care at School	This chapter was added to the procedures manual in May 2024.
Female Genital Mutilation	This chapter was updated throughout in May 2024.
Good Practice Supporting the Voice of the Child	This chapter was updated in May 2024 in line with revised Working Together to Safeguard Children.
Dangerous Dogs and Safeguarding Children	In May 2024, this chapter was reviewed and updated to include XL Bully as a banned type of dog.
Recognising Abuse and Neglect	In May 2024 definitions were updated in line with revised Working Together to Safeguard Children.
Children from Abroad, including Victims of Modern Slavery, Trafficking and Exploitation	In May 2024 this chapter was amended to include information on Identifying Suspected Perpetrators of Modern Slavery to Section 2.3, Indicators. A link was added to Age Assessment to BASW Age Assessment Practice Guidance. In Further Information, a link was added to Operation Innerste Process: Caseworker Guidance.
Serious Violence Duty	This chapter was added to the procedures manual in May 2024.
Child Protection Conferences	This chapter was updated in May 2024 with new guidance from Working Together to Safeguard Children around purpose and function of Child Protection Conferences and the role of the Lead Practitioner.
